Is there scriptural support for all sins being equal? A few times it is mentioned in the scriptures there is a greater sin or a greater judgment. To the opposite there are greater levels of rewards. Aside from blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, are all other sins equal scripturally?

IMO, all sins are equal in that they break God's law. However, they are unequal in their consequences. For instance, lusting in your heart may not break up a marriage as adultery might They are both sins, yet the consequence are far different, and to get to that point might indicate more hardening. .

The _Saint,<br><br> The one Scripture I immediately thought of is James 2:10,<br><br><br> "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."<br><br> I think there are other places where this is inferred, if not specifically stated.<br><br>In His Hands,<br><br>Ruth<br>
