scratchchin I have to disagree with that statement IF I take the statement at face value. Nearly all prophesy entails a historical application AND a future fulfillment with both contemporary (at the time of the writing) historic event(s) and historic events when understood spiritually, e.g., the first coming of Christ, et al.
