Make sure that under "Make post" at least the default "using UBBCode" is chosen. This will assure that all the items in the Graemlins (aka: Smileys) and Advanced UBBT Code options will be displayed.

Now, as far as having the Smiley appear at the cursor point: <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/3stooges.gif" alt="" /> it works fine for me. All I had to do was click on the "stooges" Smiley in the Graemlins box and it was placed correctly.

You can always add things manually using either the UBB Code or HTML if you know it and if you choose "using HTML and UBB Code" or "using HTML" from the "Make post" drop down menu.
